Singles Holidays to Tenerife
Tenerife is drenched in sunshine all year round. Although closer to Africa than Spain the atmosphere is definitely Spanish - unhurried and relaxed by day and at night when the sun goes down the pace hots up.
Beaches in Tenerife are dramatic and generally black although there are some palm lined stretches of golden sands which have been imported from the Sahara Desert. Warm, clear seas are perfect for swimming and water sports. There is a great choice of bars and restaurants which offer traditional Spanish tapas and Canarian specialities.
Tenerife in winter is a different world from the buzzing summer resort, it is an ideal holiday location for those winter months when a short hop over to the Canaries will bring back that summer sun! Whilst the lively music bars still offer entertainment, the rest of the resort is a much calmer winter retreat and the pace of life is much more relaxed but still lots of fun.
Costa Adeja is 3 kilometres up the coast from Playa de las Americas it has a quieter upmarket atmosphere with its own beach, 30 minutes from the airport, there is a choice of great bars, shops and restaurants. Costa Adeja has very good water sports facilities.
