Gulets are traditional, wide hulled, pinewood boats which, although equipped with masts, are more suitable for cruising than sailing, although when conditions merit, the sails will go up.
They have superior sea-going capacity and are comfortable, with modern but basic facilities. Unlike cruises on large ocean liners, a gulet can explore the secluded and often deserted bays, caves and islands of the spectacular Turkish coastline.
A hidden Turkey, beautiful beyond belief, is on view and most of it is completely unseen by the average tourist.
